The Trailhead Session helps us pick the path. Dog + Owner Foundations is where we start walking it.
This package is for active dogs and owners who want steady progress instead of one overloaded lesson. We will build practical skills you can use in real life, especially outside the house where distractions, energy, and excitement make everything harder.
This is a good fit if your dog:
- pulls or zig-zags on leash
- gets too excited around people, dogs, smells, or movement
- listens at home but struggles in public
- needs clearer structure and better daily routines
- has energy that needs direction
- would be more fun to take places with better manners and focus
We may work on:
- leash manners
- focus around distractions
- calmer greetings
- settling and recovery after excitement
- basic obedience that works outside the living room
- confidence in public spaces
- handler timing, rewards, and communication
- simple practice plans between sessions
You stay with your dog for every session. You handle your dog with coaching and guidance from me, so the training carries over when I am not there.
Training takes place at Nixa-area public locations selected by Bring The Dog Training. I choose the location based on the dog, the training goal, and safety.
No drop-off. No daycare. No boarding. No dog transport.
Dog + Owner Foundations is best after a Trailhead Session, but we can talk about whether it is the right starting point for you and your dog.
